Täby, Sweden — Täby Air Maintenance AB (TAM) today announced the opening of a new aircraft parts warehouse in the United States, significantly expanding the company’s global support network for regional aircraft operators.
The new facility will focus on the stocking and distribution of spare parts and components for the Saab 340, Saab 2000, and ATR 42 / ATR 72 platforms. By placing inventory directly in the United States, TAM aims to dramatically reduce delivery times and improve operational support for operators across North America.
The warehouse will hold a wide range of high-demand aircraft components, enabling faster response times for airlines, maintenance organizations, and aircraft operators requiring immediate access to critical spare parts.
“This is a major step for our company and for the operators we support,” said Christoffer Carlsson, Senior Technical Advisor. “By establishing a dedicated parts warehouse in the United States, we are bringing our inventory closer to a large portion of the global Saab and ATR operator base. Faster access to components means reduced downtime for aircraft and stronger operational support for our customers.”
The expansion reflects TAM’s continued investment in aircraft component support and its commitment to strengthening the global supply chain for regional aircraft fleets. With a long history of supporting Saab aircraft and growing experience with ATR platforms, Täby Air Maintenance AB continues to position itself as a key technical and logistics partner for regional aviation operators worldwide.
The new U.S. warehouse will become an important hub for parts distribution and is expected to significantly enhance TAM’s ability to serve customers across the Americas.
