Based at Örebro airport, some 200 km west of Stockholm, TAM has state-of-the-art workshops, allowing for heavy maintenance, repairs and modifications to be carried out. Having build a vast reputation for premium services for the world-wide fleet of Saab 340’s and Saab 2000’s, over the last three decades, TAM has from spring 2020 added the ATR-family, the world’s best selling regional turboprop, to its service portfolio.
Late April 2020, the first of two ATR’s arrived at the TAM workshops at Örebro Täby Airport, some 200 kms west of Stockholm. The significance of this arrival cannot be over-estimated, as it visibly proves the dawn of a new era for TAM. Having build a vast reputation for premium services for the world-wide fleet of Saab 340’s and Saab 2000’s, over the last three decades, TAM has now added the world’s best selling regional turboprop to its service portfolio.
With the first aircraft for 2021 finished in late January and a second already in the work shops, TAM sees a recurring interest for its industry-leading Cargo Conversion programme.
Continuing its successful series of Saab 340B Cargo Conversions, an additional aircraft – ES-NSD, s/n 171 – was delivered in early March in a striking “branded livery” to Estonian airline Nyx Air.
With a firm experience from converting more than a dozen Saab 340s to full cargo configuration, the TAM cargo conversions meet an increased market interest, with ES-NSD being the second aircraft delivered from TAM’s Örebro workshops in 2021.
