Täby, Sweden – April 2025 – TAM, Täby Air Maintenance, is pleased to announce that Jimmy Nordén will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer during the spring of 2025. He will succeed Pär Gulle, who is retiring after more than four decades in the aviation industry, including 24 years as TAM’s CEO.
The transition marks a significant generational shift in leadership at TAM. Nordén, who currently serves as Quality Manager at the company, brings 22 years of experience in the aviation sector. His deep understanding of the organization and the industry positions him well to guide TAM into its next chapter.
“Jimmy is currently our Quality Manager and knows both the industry and our company very well,” says outgoing CEO Pär Gulle. “He will be a great new CEO for TAM.” Gulle reflects on his time with the company fondly, describing TAM as “a company that specializes in aircraft, maintenance, and regional aviation, with a very long and broad experience in technicians, spare parts, and tools.”
Nordén, who began his career at TAM shortly after completing his training and later returned after working with several airlines, expresses both pride and determination in taking on his new role. “It’s an incredibly honourable assignment,” says Nordén. “I look forward to continuing to lead TAM, driving development in our areas of operation, and inspiring our team to work toward our shared goals.”
TAM remains a solid and well-established company with a strong reputation and close collaboration with its clients, including airlines and leasing companies. With new leadership in place, the company is poised to continue its growth, expand into new aircraft types, and further strengthen its presence in the aviation maintenance sector.
