Örebro, Sweden: TAM, Täby Air Maintenance AB, has now received approval of its successful Saab 340
Cargo Conversion STC from Transport Canada. The STC was previously approved by both EASA and FAA.

Close to 40 Saab 340 airplanes, including both Saab 340A and Saab 340B have been converted into full
Freighters as per the TAM STC.

The Conversion has proven to be a rigid design with a full Class E Cargo compartment without any need for smoke curtains.

Use of lightweight and strong material such as Carbon fiber has made it possible to keep the aircraft basic
mass low with high useful cargo load.

‐ We are happy that the STC is now approved by Transport Canada, which makes the Conversion
available for Canadian operators, says Pär Gulle.
